What is P235GH equivalent to?
P235GH is a high-temperature performance Fehkin and alloy steel pipe, which is a German high-temperature structural steel. P235GH, EN10216-2 pressure seamless steel pipe corresponds to the national standard 20G, 20MnG (GB 5310-2008 high-pressure boiler seamless steel pipe).
P235GH alloy steel pipe seamless pipe is generally smelted by electric arc furnace and oxygen top-blown converter. For high requirements, it adopts furnace refining, vacuum induction furnace smelting or double vacuum smelting, electroslag remelting or vacuum treatment, heat treatment.
P235GH, EN10216-2 pressure seamless steel pipe is suitable for manufacturing pressure vessels and equipment components. Compared with ordinary steel, P235GH alloy steel has higher strength and toughness, cold bending performance and welding performance, chemical properties, biocompatibility, physical properties and process performance.
Mechanical properties of P235GH alloy steel pipe: tensile strength σb350~480 MPa; yield strength σs≥215 MPa; elongation δ5≥ 25%; impact absorption energy Akv≥47 J; Brinell hardness ≤105~140 HB100
Chemical composition (mass fraction, %) of P235GH alloy steel pipe: ≤0.16 Si; 0.60~1.20 Mn; ≤0.025 Cr; ≤0.30 Ni; ≤0.30 Cu; ≤0.08 Mo; ≤0.02 V; ≤0.02 Nb; ≤0.012 N; P; ≤0.010 S; ≤0.30, ≤0.020 Al; C; ≤0.35, ≤0.03 Ti.
