DIN6798 tooth lock washers are washers with internal serrations, also known as internal serration washers or internal serration lock washers. DIN6798 washers are mainly made of manganese steel (65Mn), but other materials such as 60si2mn or stainless steel may also be used. Its hardness range is HRC 44-51, and its surface treatment includes oxidation, blackening and galvanizing.
DIN6798 tooth lock washers have high strength, hardness and elasticity, as well as good hardenability. Its critical hardening diameter is generally 30~50mm in water and 16-32mm in oil.
DIN6798 tooth lock washers have a wide range of applications and can be used in various occasions where enhanced tightening effects are required. Its design features include internal and external serrations, which can provide additional friction, thereby enhancing the connection strength between the bolt or nut and the connected parts to prevent loosening.
