A179 boiler tube is a seamless steel tube manufactured by heat treatment process with high precision, high finish, high wear resistance and other characteristics. ASME SA 179 boiler tube has a carbon content of 0.06-0.18% and a manganese content of 0.27-0.63%. These tubes are also known as low carbon steel tubes.
SA179 boiler steel tubes are mainly used in high temperature and high pressure environments, such as boilers, heat exchangers, petroleum cracking units, etc. Normally, the use temperature range is -200℃ to 450℃.
