S31803 Duplex Stainless Steel Seamless pipe
Medium alloy S31803 steel pipe is a medium alloy duplex stainless steel with excellent chloride stress corrosion resistance. Compared with 2205 duplex stainless steel pipe and 2507 duplex stainless steel pipe, it is more widely used in applications.
Its chemical composition: the maximum C content is 0.030%. The maximum Si content is 1.00%.
The maximum Mn content is 2.00%. The maximum P content is 0.030%. The content of S is 0.020%. The Ni content is between 4.50% and 6.50%. The content of Cr is between 21.00% and 23.00%. The content of Mo is between 2.50% and 3.50%. The content of N is between 0.08% and 0.20%.

PREN value range is 32~33.
Its corrosion resistance is between AISI 316L and 6%Mo+N austenitic stainless steel.
Its yield strength is twice that of 18-8 austenitic stainless steel.
Duplex stainless steel S31803 pipe is a type of ferrite-austenitic stainless steel, with ferrite F and austenite A accounting for approximately 50% each in its metallographic structure. It combines the most beneficial properties of ferrite and austenite: the ferrite phase gives the steel high strength and chloride stress corrosion resistance, and the austenite phase gives the steel good toughness and corrosion resistance.
