Hot working process of AISI 4130 pipe produced by GNNE
Annealing: The pipe is heated to a temperature of about 850-900℃ and then cooled at an appropriate rate. Annealing can eliminate residual stress and improve workability and toughness.
Hardening: The pipe is heated to a temperature of about 815-870℃ and then quickly cooled, usually by water quenching or oil quenching. This heat treatment method can significantly increase the hardness and strength of AISI 4130 alloy steel pipe.
Tempering: The AISI 4130 pipe after hardening can be tempered. Tempering is usually carried out at an appropriate temperature (such as 150-600℃ or 400-570℃) and cooled at an appropriate rate. Tempering can relieve internal stress and improve toughness and brittleness resistance.
