AISI 4130 seamless steel pipe, also known as AISI 4130 and SAE 4130, is a chromium-molybdenum low alloy steel that has a lower carbon content of 0.28-0.33% compared to AISI 4140, making it easy to weld.
The AISI 4130 alloy pipes provided by GNEE are usually supplied in hardened and tempered state with a hardness range of 207-235HB. After cold drawing, they have high dimensional accuracy and smooth surface.
According to the classification of API temperature grades, 4135 steel pipes and 4130 seamless pipes are often used in PU grades, i.e. -29℃-+121℃. But due to the slightly lower carbon content of 4130 steel, its low temperature performance is slightly better than 4135 steel.
