What is L320 line pipe?
L--represents the first English letter of the transmission pipeline "Line";
320 - represents the specified minimum yield strength value of the steel pipe, in megapascals (MPa);
The grade is specified by "X" representing pipeline steel, steel pipe
It consists of three parts: minimum yield strength value and delivery status (only applicable to PSL2 quality level).
Pipeline steel grades include:
Quality level: PSL1
Heat treatment status: hot rolling, normalizing, normalizing rolling, thermomechanical rolling
L210/A, L245/B, L290/X42, L320/X46, L360/X52, L390/X56, LA15/X60, L450/X65, L485/X70.
L320 seamless carbon steel pipe is mainly used for gas, water and oil transportation in the natural gas industry. The yield strength of L320 seamless line pipe is 320~525, and the yield-strength ratio is not greater than 0.9. The delivery status of steel pipes is hot-rolled or controlled-rolled.
