What is the difference between A106 and A333 tubes?
ASTM A333 Grade 6 pipe is a low-temperature carbon steel pipe typically used in applications where the pipe is exposed to temperatures below -45°C. Due to its excellent notch toughness, it performs well in low temperature conditions and exhibits durability in temperatures as low as -452°F. This makes it a perfect choice for applications where pipes are subject to low temperatures throughout construction and/or operation.
A333 Seamless Pipe (ASME S/A-333) is available in nominal pipe sizes from 1/4" to 24" OD.
Pipe sizes range from 1/2" to 24" OD. For use with A333 welded pipe (ASME S/A-333).
ASTM A333 covers carbon and alloy steel pipe with nominal (average) wall thickness for cryogenic service. This standard covers a variety of ferritic steel grades.
ASTM A106 Gr.B carbon steel pipe is valued for its high tensile strength and toughness, high oxidation resistance and long-term durability. Additionally, seamless pressure ASTM A106 pipe has wide applications in the gas and oil industry, water, heating, pipeline construction and other industries.

ASTM A333 Grade 3 seamless pipe is a low-temperature seamless steel pipe, mainly used in low-temperature environments of -45°C to -29°C.
ASTM A333 Grade 3 seamless pipe has good corrosion resistance, mechanical properties and low temperature toughness, and is widely used in low temperature pipeline systems in petroleum, chemical, natural gas, electric power and other industries.
